Haiti
I recently visited Haiti for the first time. There aren’t many ways to describe the level of poverty there that serve justice to the story. However, even amongst some of the poorest backdrops I’ve seen, the people are often warm and inviting. There is beauty in Haiti, not only within its people, but also within it’s landscape. But there is also great cause for concern with living conditions that must be seen to be understood. Here’s a look at some of the people and places I met. Photos © Food For the Poor
