How To Judge a Llama
This is one of my favorite (non) stories. I don’t think I’ve ever laughed as hard at a piece in our paper, both taking the photos and later reading the article. Kudos to Jeremy Bonfiglio for the hilarious write up. Here’s one of my favorite moments;
Llamas are quiet. They’re gentle and affectionate. They don’t take a lot of work to maintain and for outdoor animals, they don’t smell that bad. Then there’s those fuzzy, banana-shaped ears, a coat that’s huggably soft, and those huge, beguiling eyes that make the animal seem to understand your deepest thoughts.
So what’s the downside?
“You can’t poke them with a stick,” says Kyle Smith as his father Ryan, holds on to a llama named Dove. “They don’t like that.”
